Using maths for Christmas shopping

​Third and fourth have been busy helping Mr. Tyrrell to do his Christmas shopping. They used different catalogues to decide on presents for Mr. Tyrrell's brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Some groups were given a budget of €150 for the childrens' presents and other groups had a budget of €250 to choose gifts for the grown-ups. It was great to see the boys and girls using real-life maths to solve problems with money.
