Welcome to our Active Week
Active Home Week Ideas and Materials
Boys and Girls (and your families),
For Active Home Week you are asked to do 60-minutes exercise each day. You have to try four different activities and each activity can be 15 minutes long. We have included some ideas below and we also added activities in Google Classroom. Visit our Twitter page for more great ideas and suggestions that we are sharing from other schools around the country.
Please remember to add them to your record sheet and send them back to your teacher at the end of the week. You can download this form and it allows you to type/write on to it.
If you don't have a printer or can't figure out how to type in the form, don't worry! You can just write out the different activities that you did and send them on Google Classroom.
We'd also love to see some photos/videos of your different games/exercises so that we can share them on Twitter and with the Active Flag team. Best of Luck Everyone and HAVE FUN!!!

There are two parts to today's Active Home Week Challenge.
1) Design an obstacle course (indoors or outdoors) and see how fast you can complete it. Remember to tidy up after yourselves.
2) Come up with a challenge! We are turning you guys into teachers. We want you to create a challenge for the whole school. You saw the ones that Morgan, Mr. Tyrrell and Mrs. O' Sullivan shared). Do you think you could create a video like that? Whatever challenges we receive will be shared with all the classes at some stage between now and when we go back to school to try and keep the Active Home excitement going.

We are SOOOOO proud of everyone for their wonderful effort this week. We were so disappointed that we had to cancel our Active School Week as we had so much planned! But we are just delighted with how well our Active Home Week went. Our boys, girls, their families and our school staff really rose to the occasion and had an amazing time doing active tasks and challenges at home. We knew we had a great school community before this week and this certainly proved it! Well done everyone! Keep Active and Stay Safe!
