We had a wonderful morning on Friday where we got to say a fond farewell to our boys and girls in sixth class. This was an historic first for our school, where we held our graduation mass virtually. We were joined by our school community to give a lovely send-off to this fantastic group of children. It wasn't the way we wanted to say goodbye but we were delighted that we got to mark their time with us in some way. Thanks to Mrs. Noonan for the wonderful parcels that she created for 6th class. They were absolutely wonderful. Thanks also to Mrs. Usher for the great job that she did on the slideshow and to all the staff for the lovely words that they shared for our staff video messages. As promised, here are some of the videos from our ceremony. We hope that you enjoy looking back on them and reminiscing on the great memories of your time with us in Killina. We wish you every success for each exciting adventure that crosses your path in the future. Go n-éirí an bóthar libh! What a show!!! We had an amazing time in the RDS on Saturday night. The boys and girls did such a wonderful job singing their hearts out and performing the actions to the best of their ability. We were very proud of how well-represented our school was in the RDS. Special thanks to our school staff who have worked tirelessly to prepare the boys and girls for the show and to our parents who helped their children to perfect their moves and learn off all the song lyrics. It was certainly a night that our children, staff and families will never forget. Performing with 2,500 children in front of an enthusiastic audience of 5,000 people is something that will live on in all of our memories. We were delighted to be able to share our love of music with our fantastic group of students. Thank you Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland!! Some videos of our performance
Some photographs from our time at Peace Proms 2020Check out this amazing work that was done by 3rd and 4th class in recreating Carbury Village. As part of their local history project, this amazing group of children used their learning from last month's field trip to make a scaled representation of Carbury. Didn't they do an amazing job!
